[KETTERING, OH, 3/20/19] – This year, �������� has granted $800,000 in tuition awards to incoming students. Over 70 students entered the college’s Design Program scholarship competition. A committee of Modern alumni, employed within the industry, reviewed the students’ submitted work and selected the final winners.

The 2019 competition winners are:

Daniel E. Johnson Award ($10,000)

• Hannah Peterson, Ohio, Delaware Area Career Center 

Portfolio Competition Award ($5,000)

• Valerie Baker, Ohio, Miami Valley Career Tech Center

• Seth Gamez, Oklahoma, Metro Tech Centers South Bryant

• Lillian Weber, Ohio, Buckeye Valley High School/Career Center
