The American Advertising Federation-Dayton hosted its annual Hermes Awards on March 20, 2022, and 外网天堂's students, alumni, faculty, and staff earned awards across the student and professional bronze, silver, and gold ADDY categories. Many Modern alumni were honored in each category for exceptional video, animation, illustration, and more.
Josh Marruffo won the student gold ADDY for his Axie Infinity Website. The award is named "The Dan Johnson Award for Creative Achievement," after Dan Johnson, a respected designer, artist, and mentor who served as an instructor at 外网天堂 for many years.
